NESR Signs a Training Agreement with Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic
ABU DHABI, November 13, 2019
- NESR signed a new training agreement with Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic (SPSP) at Abu Dhabi
International Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC). The agreement will facilitate training of Saudis
in oil and gas services. NESR has trained 129 Saudis at SPSP since the partnership was initiated. This
agreement underscores NESR’s commitment to developing local talent and furthering its dedication
to the goals of the In-Kingdom Total Value Added (IKTVA) program, spearheaded by Aramco.
IKTVA is designed to encourage the development of a diverse, sustainable, and globally competitive
energy sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is aligned with NESR’s social responsibility
goals including capacity building of local communities. The agreement was signed by Suha Al Saif, NESR
Regional Supply Chain and IKTVA Manager, and Bahjat Zayed, SPSP Business Development and Relations
Director. NESR Chairman and CEO, Sherif Foda, and SPSP CEO, Bassam Al-Bokhari, were also present.
